Firm: THE CROSSBOUNDARIES
Modernist Coffee aims to cleverly unite various concepts as café typologies become more than eateries, becoming art galleries, co-working spaces, and gathering spaces around the world. According to the brand's concept of 'Spaces, People, & Coffee,' the café has been designed as a modern crossroads where coffee culture seamlessly merges with art and public life. As a result of carrying the client brief forward and pushing the boundaries of what a new café typology entails, we devised new concepts for the café, art, and performance spaces. To expand the experience of having a coffee, we design partitions, an infinity water body, and terraces.
